Sangat (Pilgrims) of Gurdwara Sahib Tallewal, Barnala district performed langar service at Sri Darba

Baba Karnail Singh, head from Gurdwara Sahib Tallewal in Barnala district and a large number of pilgrims from there performed langar service at Sri Guru Ram Das Ji's community kitchen at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. The pilgrims who arrived here on Thursday prepared the langar with devotion with the ration that they brought along. The sangat donated flour, pulses, rice, sugar, tea, refined and mustard oil, ghee, and other ration to Guru's langar. Baba Karnail Singh said that in Sikhism, langar tradition has an important place in the religious history of the world. Due to this Guru's blessed tradition, the Sikh community has a unique identity. The privilege of serving at Guru Ram Das Ji's community kitchen brings immense joy and happiness. This is the common place and there is no greater example for human unity, said Baba Karnail Singh. Meanwhile, the pilgrims of Barnala were received by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) member S. Baldev Singh Chunghan, S. Jagsir Singh Mangeana, manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, S. Satnam Singh Mangeana, who jointly honored them with Siropaos (robe of honour) and pictures of Sri Darbar Sahib. On this occasion, among pilgrims, former Sarpanch S. Balraj Singh Kaka, Baba Bhagwan Singh, Baba Kaur Singh, Baba Gurpreet Singh Bhadaur and others were present.
